      The kids are amazing, and often times surrounded by amazing, dedicated teachers.

      Cons

      Horrible administration, overworked and underpaid, toxic culture rife with mismanagement, ego, micro-managing, manipulation, tone policing where admin and the business office only care about numbers.

      EMKS truly trains and supports their teachers. We work together because we can not do this work alone. I appreciate the frequent support through coaching, feedback, and time to plan with my team.

      Cons

      It's a lot to learn at once, but we are set up to do this job well.

      Pros

      Overall, a good experience here. Feel trusted by my manager who wants the best for my kids and me as a professional. Lots of professional development, very structured at the beginning. The school also works hard to be inclusive. As a LGBT+ staff member, I feel very safe and seen here.

      Cons

      Kauffman knows it is growing. We have things to work on like any school. However, there are committed professionals making Kauffman better.
