Pros

Very few. Some of the engineering teams are able to work together quite effectively, despite constantly moving goal posts.

Cons

Zero time for bug fixes, updating post-end-of-life libraries, or general system improvements. No planning or organization. Constant emergency bug fixes and issues being thrown over the fence. A massive finger-pointing culture. Bug fixes and features that are years old that were dropped on the floor for the new fire. Flat management means Craig can come in and wreck your entire day. I've been on many meetings where my direct supervisor didn't know what my peers were working on because Craig had pulled them off onto another task. They claim it's a "startup culture", but are you really a startup with 700 employees? You're also expected to be answering Slack every minute of every day. I was personally threatened with being fired for not responding to a Slack message at 6:30 pm.

While we recognize that fast-paced environments can be challenging, the experience described here does not reflect the intent behind our engineering culture or leadership approach. As a cybersecurity company operating in a rapidly evolving threat landscape, priorities must remain flexible to address customer needs, security requirements and business objectives. Our managers and leadership team are committed to supporting employees while maintaining the agility required in a high-growth technology company. We value feedback from current and former employees and remain focused on strengthening our processes, investing in our engineering organization and creating an environment where teams can do their best work.

Pros

The team members were one of the best parts of working here. They were knowledgeable, supportive, and always willing to help each other. Many of my coworkers genuinely cared about doing great work and creating a positive experience for customers.

Cons

Unfortunately, the work environment created by management was the complete opposite. There was a lack of professionalism, poor communication, and inconsistent leadership. Managers often created unnecessary stress rather than supporting employees, and concerns raised by staff were frequently ignored. I also witnessed and experienced behavior that felt intimidating and, at times, crossed the line into harassment. Instead of addressing these issues, management often dismissed them or failed to take appropriate action. This created a toxic culture where employees felt uncomfortable speaking up and morale suffered.

We’re glad to hear that you had a positive experience with your teammates and recognized the care, knowledge and support they bring to their work and to our customers. We are disappointed to read your characterization of our workplace and management culture. We take any concern involving professionalism, respect or workplace conduct seriously, but we also want to be clear that the description shared here does not reflect the standards we set for our leaders or the culture we work hard to maintain. Allegations of harassment are serious, and we do not believe public review platforms are the appropriate place to fully assess or resolve such claims. Our company has established channels for employees to report concerns, and we encourage those channels to be used so matters can be investigated fairly, confidentially and with appropriate care. We remain committed to a workplace built on accountability, professionalism, respect, and support. We will continue investing in leadership development, clear communication and employee resources.

Pros

The Specialists have great personalties.

Cons

A major con is the management structure, especially around Implementation. There is a noticeable lack of support, accountability, and professionalism from leadership, which can make the work environment feel unnecessarily stressful and disorganized. Expectations are often unclear or constantly shifting, and instead of helping teams align, management can create more confusion, pressure, and frustration. There also seems to be a gap between what leadership thinks is happening and what employees are actually experiencing day to day. The product has potential, but poor communication, weak leadership, and a lack of real employee support make it difficult for people to feel valued or set up for success.

We recognize that experiences and perceptions of leadership can vary. Our leadership teams are expected to provide clear direction, ongoing coaching and support while maintaining accountability to the responsibilities and expectations of each role. We regularly evaluate our management practices and welcome constructive feedback as part of our commitment to continuous improvement and professional development across the organization.
