Its hard to get fired when in the union, OT is plentiful, pay is good, yearly raise, job security, work isnt hard, decent benefits

Cons

No advancement opportunities, management implements rules having no knowledge of how things work on the floor, no sick days

Pretty clean work environment. Not a ton of overly demanding physical work, pretty easy stuff Management isn't breathing down your neck

Cons

A lot of front office politics Rash decisions made that directly effect your work without notice Long hours without prior notice

Good place to work for some overtime and extra cash. Operators are forced to work overtime on a daily basis.

Cons

Managers and Supervisors will make your working condition like hell if you don't suck up to them or worship them to boost their narcissistic ego. Managers gladly reward the lazy employees who are good at sucking up to them. Managers and Supervisors are very unprofessional and vindictive to those who don't worship them.
