Pros

Overall I can see that, at least, at a regional level we're headed in a solid direction. The company has a good name which takes us pretty far in our field, and helping unemployed people find work can make even the worst days "good days". I definitely see enormous room for advancement within the company and am very impressed with the number of individual employees who have dedicated their entire careers to Kelly. I can definitely see myself as a long term Kelly employee and that's a first for me as far as personal loyalty towards any company with whom I've worked.

Cons

The office can be a little stifling sometimes(though there seems to be an active and ongoing attempt to fix this). I feel like their might just be a little to much focus on profit at the expense of other very important things like: employee/customer loyalty, enough employees to handle the workload, and salaries. The training program could use a more focused inner-office approach too.

Pros

It is very hard for me to give a constructive view of working temp assignments when my need is to a be permanent employee on a different level.

Cons

Placement supervisors are not very professional in terms of communicating information about assignments and expectations. The first concern is their clients not their employees.

Pros

Nice working location, most people are friendly, good benefits at HQ. If you have a great leader who is well liked and respected by peers and superiors, you may do well provided you are in the good graces of your leader. This will last as long as you and your leader remain the roles that made you successful and well-liked.

Cons

Kelly HQ is very clique-oriented. You are in or you are out. If you are a favorite you will do well as long as you maintain your status. If you aren't - beware. Management subtly requires favorites to maintain their status with liberal bowing and scraping. If this isn't your cup of tea, look elsewhere. One line I overheard says it all: "It's not about what you know, it's about how well you're liked". Quality and quantity doesn't count as much as being "liked". Management also has a consistent habit of duck and cover. Don't expect your leader to put his or her neck on the line for you regardless of the circumstances. Those that make waves are removed. Sometimes, even those that speak the truth are removed.
