      If you're IT, don't work at Kemper

      Pros

      Kemper acquired Infinity, which had a ton of great people. The few of them that are still here are the only reason I haven't left.

      Cons

      Upper management doesn't care about IT, and their business decisions are bankrupting the future of the company. The CTO told our entire IT staff "if you want to write code, go work somewhere else." The benefits are mediocre, raises and promotions are strategically delayed so you never get them, and everyone is overworked. Upper management "requires" overtime but don't pay you for it.

      Pay check.....then nothing hmmm yeah that’s it

      Cons

      The list of cons is so long. The stress at this company in unreal I’ve been in this business 20years and never seen anything like it. I’ve talk to people in other areas they all say the same thing and are looking for other jobs. The Large loss department is really bad from what I’ve been told by a number of Large loss adjusters . What ever you do here it’s the wrong decision and this place will make you work 7 days a week 10+ a day. SO RUN LIKE HELL NO JoKE you will regret ever working here

      Dishonest executive management; no raises or bonuses; Money wasted on corporate jets and travel but not for salary increases.
