Pros

Salary is reasonably competitive for the Birmingham market, workload is not usually unreasonable

Cons

The company is the polar opposite of an Agile shop. It feels very much like being a cog in a machine rather than a valued person. Upper management is insisting on an aggressive return-to-office plan despite having been successful with remote and hybrid work throughout the pandemic, citing "the need for face to face collaboration" even though most IT teams are geographically dispersed, and developers spend half their time on Teams meetings regardless of whether they are in office or remote.

Pros

Cannont think of anything positive about Kemper!

Cons

Long Hours, Underpaid, Training is horrible! We are only allowed to work 65 days a year from home and it has scheduled. Unexpected layoffs and Everyone is quitting and we are still expected to meet metrics while being understaffed.
