Pros
I came to this company with no insurance experience, just a desire to learn, work hard, and make a career for myself. Not only was I provided with the training and resources I needed to be successful but I was also provided with the opportunity to grow. There is a clear career path that rewards those who work hard and show initiative. I love working for Kemper because of this, and because of the people. Upper management seeks out feedback from employees and welcomes new ideas. This is the first place I've worked where they actually take your feedback and ideas to heart and act on them. The work life balance is also great.
Cons
Being on the phones for long periods of time can lead to burn out. Compensation is competitive but could be better. Giving my overall rating 4/5 due to compensation.
