Pros

Kemper has been a great place to work. Over the past 5.5 years I had the opportunity to start as and adjuster trainee to a claims manager. Kemper offers plenty of opportunity and room to grow. Benefits and pay are also competitive with others in the market.

Cons

I have had no issues since working with kemper.

Pros

I started August 3rd and I've been in training since my start date. They have done a great job of training me especially in the current work from home environment. This is the first position I've started from home and was worried about learning the system from home. They have done a great job of easing me into the job and provided several virtual classes. Based on my unit huddles and meetings so far, the claim count per adjuster is very reasonable.

Cons

At this time I'm unable to think of any cons.

Pros

Work life balance, senior and executive leaders who care about their employees, great benefits/pay and a work environment that can't be beat. Oh yeah - - the people - - Kemper has built an incredible team over the last few years. Everyone I work with is professional, friendly, and most importantly - competent. The company is growing at an incredible rate which leaves for TONS of career advancement opportunities.

Cons

Since i don't have any "Cons" i can think of, I'll say the most challenging part of working at Kemper is dealing with the 'growing pains'. Rapid growth, system improvements, and investment in additional tools for employees can, at times, be challenging and difficult to keep up with. I would not call it a con as you are always learning and once you're over the learning curve, it becomes much easier. If you are looking for a place to grow your career and like to be challenged, you found the place.
