Pros

Kemper acquired Infinity, which had a ton of great people. The few of them that are still here are the only reason I haven't left.

Cons

Upper management doesn't care about IT, and their business decisions are bankrupting the future of the company. The CTO told our entire IT staff "if you want to write code, go work somewhere else." The benefits are mediocre, raises and promotions are strategically delayed so you never get them, and everyone is overworked. Upper management "requires" overtime but don't pay you for it.

Kemper is a great place for full collaboration and integration. From my very first day every member of Kemper has been welcoming and encouraging. No corporate silo's and many managers/executives have an open door policy.

Cons

Not many and the few are normal items such as workload can add up quickly but manageable.
