Pros

An “OK” place to start and get some experience. Company van. Only basic technical skills needed. Flexible hours

Cons

Highly encouraged for you to KNOW your state’s labor laws (paid breaks vs. split lunch deducted hours). Management does not seem to care if your health and safety is in jeopardy, just get the job done. Management appears to attempt to NOT rent proper equipment needed for employee to perform safe installations. (See above) Employees are expected to pay uniform rental fees. They will NOT payout accumulated PTO unless your state law requires it. Even then they will attempt to fight it (DO NOT sign any “must sign” agreement stating otherwise). It’s a continuous effort to CYA of poor repairs and installations not performed by you. Management’s philosophy appears to be “IT’S YOUR FAULT” They attempt to ask you to take company vehicle in for repairs and wait while “off the clock.” ADVICE: If at any point you are asked to perform work in a manner the seems a risk to the health of you, your coworkers and/or the public. Have management change verbal instructions into written (email or text) and TAKE PICTURES.
