Pros

A handful of genuine people that made being there a little less awful. A hiking trail for blowing off steam. It was the main thing keeping me sane.

Cons

Management!!! They are there from tenure rather than actually having skills or knowing how to manage. Mean girl culture in marketing. The CMO is useless, HR is useless, gossipy tattle tales around every corner who report back to HR for every little thing makes it hard to trust. If you’re reading this, you know who you are and no one likes you so maybe get a life. They use weaponized PIPS to get rid of people they don’t like who don’t fit the toxic culture. It was really awful to watch. They use activetrak software to monitor you and decide if you are productive enough. Random screen records, screenshots, key logging, tracks “productive tasks”. Manager gets a weekly report to decide if you are doing enough work. The entire company just feels like a hot mess. I’m surprised it’s been functioning for as long as it has because it feels like everything is just hanging together by a very thin piece of thread and rotting duct tape. If you are an advisor reading these reviews, take into consideration that literally every employee is desperate to get out of this place but the job market is tough. Some of us quit with no backup because the toxic office was literally making us sick. The treatment of their employees is awful. For most the pay is way below average with laughable raises, and the managers are clueless about what their direct reports even do.

Pros

There was nothing good about working here.

Cons

Low pay for the amount of work they expect you to do. There is lack of trust of the employees from the executive team starting with the CEO. Why hire people if you don’t trust them to do the job? Another employee told me they installed tracking software to be able to see every thing you do. They care more about the advisors liking them (executives) than anything else. Culture is very high school ish and toxic. Very difficult to move up or to different departments. No matter if you are out performing you will never get anything but meets expectations. If you are a yes man this place is for you!
