No Life Outside of Work

Pros

Compensation and Benefits are great, company is making progress on diversity and inclusion with ERGs. Working at corporate office in Frisco, Texas is an amazing office, you can watch the Dallas Cowboys practice during lunch, the facilities are modern and encourage collaboration with shared spaces, full coffee bar is great for breaks with "starbucks-like" beverage options for $3. Great location.

Cons

This can be an amazing place to work but be prepared to put everything and everyone in your personal life on hold. The expectation of leadership is that you get the work done at the highest standards no matter what the cost. And there's not much support in helping you achieve a healthy work life balance. If your single, have no kids or social life, this is the company is for you.

Pros

Strong brands on cola side

Cons

KDP says that they are working on being more inclusive but they are not. The company caters to the men. We recently had the first in person sales meet in years since COVID. The meeting was held on the Dallas Cowboys indoor practice field. As part of the meeting there was this room in the back where the men could get their pictures taken with cheerleaders wearing their uniforms which are like bikini sized outfits. They weren't out in the open or anything it was this sign pointing to this backroom "private" area where the guys could interact with very young barely dressed women. A step above the old days when sales guys would go to strip clubs. KDP says they respect women and their careers but when they pull stuff like this their actions show how they really feel about women and men's expectation that women are available for their oogling and entertainment. One look at any org chart within KDP shows that women are not valued as professionals within the organization either.
