The work is quite simple being behind the register, and assisting the more polite customers can be a pleasant experience. Dealing with the bookkeepers and co-worker can get one through the day...

Cons

... Then again, dealing with them can be the downside, particularly with their disdainful attitudes at times and the gossips they create. Also, some customers can be quite rude and pompous. And sadly, the pay is not good either.
