Pros

Great people, good pay, learn a lot!

Cons

Depending on your territory, your job can be soul sucking. West coast is a huge struggle for commodity divisions. A lot of driving and hotel stays. I definitely made most of my money driving! Be prepared to pick up the phones and call away - a lot of cold calling. You can definitely tell that Keyence America is heavily influenced by the Japanese... barely any work-life balance. My advice to you - don't work your life away, get some experience, then leave to work for a less demanding company.

Demanding and Rewarding

Pros

Pay is fair, and in a good office, you find a good mix of culture, cooperation, and opportunity. I've never been turned down for a vacation, and I find motivation to work hard and get things done

Cons

If you don't like driving, don't take an outside sales job. Some territories are more demanding than others, but it comes to geography more than anything.
