1. Slow to adapt, if at all 2. Lack of clarity on top-level communications 3. In Keyence America, strong dependence on parent company (Japan) to drive real change 4. Convoluted incentive structure overall 5. Strategic placing of offices in lower cost-of-living locations bordering major cities, in order to justify paying lower base salaries
