There’s way too many metrics we are ranked and judged on. They care more about process numbers than sales results

Metrics, metrics, metrics. You’ll still have to abide by the same metrics of entry level coworkers even once you’re in management. The culture in upper management and somewhat in general is abysmal. They don’t understand current generations don’t want a job that crushes them just to feel pride. If you want to stay past 3 or so years you have to drink the kool-aid.
