Pros

Best industry skill up anyone could ever get coming straight out of college. Instant training and value add built into your career path. Great Pay

Cons

As you probably have read from many other post, metrics rule all. How else do you build a $5B+ a year sales company with a bunch of college kids selling $100 to $150,000 products. Can't blame the system since it works, but it just has a natural attrition of really well developed sales people moving on into the industry to capture more of the value that Keyence has built into them.

Pros

Very clear goals and metrics

Cons

too many metrics to keep track, commission is determined on a bell curve based on your peers performance for the first quarter (which they DO NOT tell you and it is wildly unfair) travel is brutal, vacation and sick days are extremely strict and very minimal WFH
