Numbers driven performance

Business Outlook

Pros

Performance reviews are never a surprise as the metrics are all based quantifiable actions. The employee development in comparison to competitive organizations is significantly more advanced and thorough. It is a common joke that competitors will attempt to poach Keyence employees after a couple years by offering a few thousand more in salary to disguise worse long term career opportunity. Benefits are very competitive From a future outlook, Keyence supports manufacturing globally and is investing in new products that do and will support other areas like R&D globally.

Cons

As a sales position, the results are somewhat dictated by "territory" or area of coverage. From a market perspective, this is true for any sales role and Keyence is no different.
