Pros

Keyence is always developing their product to be current or ahead of demand and trends. As the company grows the territories shrink which makes for a healthy work/life balance. Customers are in every industry imaginable which keeps the job from being too routine. The benefits package that is offered cannot be beat and is very valuable when considering offers.

Cons

There are a few small pieces to the company guidelines that are dated such as only having a single monitor at each desk. This is meant to create equality and uniformity throughout the workforce, but it certainly hinders productivity.

Pros

Overall compensation is great. Training was great, coming from someone with zero engineering background I was able to conceptualize everything and sell comfortably.

Cons

Micromanagement at its core. For someone not entirely interested in automation and production, I could not have been less interested in day-to-day happenings and new products etc. That's a fundamental error on my end for taking the job, but I'm mainly posting this for new-grads so they don't make the same mistake and get overwhelmed with the pay, which seems like a lot at that age. But the reality is, I looked around my office and couldn't see myself advancing much further in terms of career, comp, and personal growth. Do what you want! Take a low paying job right out of school in the industry you like and work your butt off. If this is your industry of choice, go for it! Way more rewarding, don't ever settle.

Pros

You get everyhting you need - top phone, top laptop, top car - everything is fancy and keyence never makes the impression, that they are saving money on you. If you work hard, you can achieve a lot and therefore increase your salaray drastically with time.

Cons

You have to handle constant unnecessary pressure for no reason whatsoever. Keyence pushes you to the limit either you make it or you are just getting spit out after you break. 14 hour workdays are constant and expected of you and you are getting the looks of your collegues if you spend less time working.
