Pros

Company pays well for a starting company. Solid 401k. Best or second best products in the segment makes them easier to sell. Great culture and fun co workers

Cons

Micromanagement! Not much of a life work balance you work 8.5 hour days in the office starting at 730. Sales success and career advancement is very dependent on the division and territory you receive. Easy to get first promotion to Senior Sales Engineer but advancing to SS or Sales manager will take many years. Required to work from the office when you're not meeting with customers. Offices are no where near the city and make commuting a pain. Many Regional Managers are just people who got into the company at the right time 15 years ago and are not great

Pros

Depending on your product division and manager, you may get a lot of independence and you’re only in the office 2 days a week.

Cons

Can be very heavily micromanaged.

Pros

The company values you as an employee. I love the small company feeling in my division even though we are a large organization .

Cons

If you don’t enjoy driving and traveling for work I would recommend looking into other roles at Keyence at the HQ.
