Pros

— Work from home — Competitive wage — Daily flexibility on your schedule

Cons

— Leadership — It’s white-washed and filled with “yes people” promoted more for optics and convenience rather than actual managerial and leadership talent and ability. — Job duties — This a call center position dressed up and fed to you as much more than it is. Very boring, unfulfilling and soul sucking work just to pad the pockets of Keypath and their partner schools. Don’t expect problems to be solved through team work and collaboration. It’s survival mode, just putting out fires to not burn down the entire department and moving to the next with no real plan. Innovation comes here to die. — Culture — They scream diverse & inclusive practices so loudly. That should have been the first red flag, as companies don’t have to talk about it if they are about it. They just do it. No real training for leaders surrounding these topics, so you are left with inept managers and AD’s who are racist, sexist and homophobic.

Thank you for feedback and very sorry your experience has not been positive at Keypath. Not going to debate your comments as your feelings and experiences are yours. This is obviously not the experience from many (if not most) employees at here, but very sorry it was for you. You do make several comments that I find concerning, and would like to speak directly if possible. I disagree with your comments on retaliation and I am open to all feedback, even if not great to hear. My email is steve.fireng@keypathedu.com. Again very sorry about your experience and hope to speak soon steve

Innovative Company

Pros

The CEO, Steve, is very receptive to feedback from employees at all levels. Keypath started with many people working in-person and he heard that most of us want to be remote, so he changed policy and Keypath is a remote-friendly company. He also heard that many weren't happy with the parental leave policy, so he increased that paid time off significantly. Other pros are the pay. It's very fair pay compared to other ed tech companies.

Cons

While the parental leave policy is great, I still think there's room to improve the PTO policy. I am the primary caregiver of a child who is in daycare, so that child gets sick a lot. While my supervisor is very understanding, it would be nice to have more PTO, even if it's only specifically to be used for sick time. The majority of my PTO this year was used as sick time. Also-I would love there to be more flexibility with the tuition benefits. I would love to go back to school to get my doctorate. However, I'm not comfortable doing so with the policy that Keypath currently has. I understand why certain rules are there, but it would be nice to know, for example, that one poor performance review won't mean I would owe Keypath thousands of dollars for a degree I was pursuing.

Thank you for comments and appreciate the recognition on parental leave change. We continue to review our benefits both hard and soft, to evaluate the market and what we should do to help employees perform, but also be supported. As it relates to tuition benefits I agree this is a tremendous benefit. Some of these programs do limit the number of employees and because these programs are free we don't want a lot of employee turnover in these programs. This makes us have strong standards to let folks into these programs. If you have any ideas on making this program more viable and get more folks in program please share ideas with HR. Hope that helps and thanks again. steve
