Pros
Work life balance company at the time (2014-2016). Easy to interview and get an offer with compared to other more competitive companies. Learned a lot of things and also learned what I didn't want to work on. Old guards from HP to ask questions and seek advice from.
Cons
The pay was lack luster compared to my peers working down in the bay area < 2 hours away. For someone young and not tied down to the area, it made sense to look for employment in the bay area after a short first job stint in Santa Rosa. Keysight operates under the old system where for someone to move up - someone has to quit or retire in order for an opening to show. Young hungry people generally do not have the patience to wait 5+ years while making below average pay for the slim opportunity to move up. Young hungry people go where there is growth.
