Pros

They really do take care of their people (as long as you aren't in the marketing organization, from what I've been told... management there was absorbed from an acquisition). Good amount of autonomy, collaboration, etc. I feel fortunate to work here, and the management reciprocates that, which feels great.

Cons

Publicly traded company + sales job = nonstop quarterly pressure to close business. It's also a big machine, so there aren't too many opportunities to really act nimble and outside the systems in place.

Previous work life balance of HP, great people, lots of opportunity to grow and learn, great benefits, company future seems strong.

Cons

Pay is lower than industry average, desire to keep shareholders happy is slowly degrading work life balance, pay raises are not proportionate to increase in work load, most remote work is no longer allowed, pay is low for the high cost of living area, stock rewards are much smaller than other tech companies if given at all.
