      Pros

      Solid mgmt is not going to make any rash decisions to sink the ship. Still embrace much of the HP culture of valuing & respecting employees. Company core biz has been around for 50+ years and will likely be around for some time.

      Cons

      However, steady as she goes can be boring if you like a higher risk company willing to really shake things up. Competition is intense from companies who are more focused on producing competing products that do 80% of our high end products at 50% of the price, putting pressure on margins.
