Pros

Professional people, outstanding benefits, state of the art infrastructure, multiple opportunities for career advancement or to make lateral moves into other areas of the company, employee career development is a high priority, supports remote workers

Cons

Like any multi-billion dollar company, there are constant organizational changes that can create churn and confusion of who sales needs to contact for support. Sales also goes through organizational changes, but the changes are not as dramatic and you know what your job is. Go out and solve a customer's problem by selling them the best T&M equipment available. It's at the Division and Marketing levels where there can be some confusion of who is doing what. Again, not unusual for a company of this size at all. The con is more of a "do you want to work at a big company or a small one?"

Pros

Good people, although the altruism has faded since the HP days. Mostly rational decisions. Mostly good ethics, but depends a bit on your specific management chain. Mostly supportive culture. Some high-level managers are great people in hard jobs, e.g. Mike Gasparian & Guy Sene. Hopefully their integrity will survive at the upper levels.

Cons

A lot of management attention to quarterly financial targets, sometimes more so than contributing to our customers' success or making prudent decisions about long-term business. Much less innovation than in the past. Other cons depend heavily on your specific management chain.
