Pros

Long time employees are fantastic to work with and have, until recently, had the company's best interest in mind. Has traditionally been a great place to work were everyone put in the hours necessary and had fun.

Cons

Too much management. Endless meetings make it impossible and taxing to do the job effectively. Management has no grasp of the marketplace or the customer. A great example is an employee that truly loved the company, could reach across multiple departments, and that had the ears of warehousing, sales, etc was released without reason. The entire company is still talking about it. "What's Best" has disappeared and has been replaced by employees fearful of loosing their job and employees that have no faith in the decisions that management makes.

Pros

The workload is fast-paced. A few good co-workers. The potential to succeed is right there but...

Cons

Their training is simply the poorest. New ideas are not abundant. The company throws darts at a non-existing bulls-eye. Leadership appears to be lacking. Any employer whom designs offices for management only is a tell-tale sign of culture issues. The atmosphere is dry. Motivation and drive are depleted by negativity, bleak workspace, discourages communication, and plenty other life-sucking obstacles. A company times their employees bathroom breaks deserves to fail. No end goal in-sight, no action plan, fails at the simplest of duties per department, little transparency, etc. I think you get the point. This place needs to be overhauled by business consultation.

Pros

You get work with a lot of automotive brands and shops in the aftermarket. You have the distinct advantage of selling from the largest inventory pool in the country. The employees are great under management. You have access to one of largest automotive aftermarket networks in the country. Use it! If you're passionate about the industry, can quickly build trust and relationships, can turn a no into yes, and making real money is not a concern, this is for you. Dress code is enforced.

Cons

If you're looking to make real sales money, this is not for you. Promotion from within is very slow and slim, even if you are very motivated. They convey a culture that thrives on not compensating their employees while expecting them to sell millions of dollars in product. Even if you create substantial results good luck getting a raise. The bonus system is a joke. It's not a real sales environment in the least. They don't dangle the carrot, it's tied to the back of your neck and you might get a bite if you're really lucky. If you don't live or are willing to move to Exeter, PA, good luck getting promoted. Even the regional management comes from PA. or is hired externally. I rarely saw promotion from within during my stint at the company,. Hopefully being acquired by LKQ solved a lot of the pain points of being an employee and has offered a lot more opportunities for promotion.
