      Pros

      Kiewit is generally pretty good to it's people. They're willing to invest in training their people and give people plenty of opportunities to grow into new roles.

      Cons

      It's always growing so fast that it's a very young company. So there isn't much of a safety net of experience to go around.

      Pros

      Great benefits. Cool projects. Some great people in the lower ranks.

      Cons

      The engineering side consists of a bunch of "yes men". There is little to no emotional intelligence in senior and executive management. They also promote those that are either Kiewit lifers or can talk a good game- it's not remotely based on qualifications.

      Good Culture for the most part and a lot of growth opportunities

      Cons

      For the amount of work required to be successful you have to sacrifice personal life. experience, performance doesn’t, great feedback direct = fair pay across the different levels of positions. Dept Management appreciation is not shown or communicated in a timely and meaningful way. Burnout is ranked as high.
