Pros

Free coffee is about the only good thing here.

Cons

- The leaders at Kikoff have no real vision or sense of direction. - Every decision feels impulsive and disconnected from reality. - There is no plan for employee growth or development, only empty promises and shifting priorities. - The constant disorganization makes it nearly impossible to stay motivated or feel valued. - Trust in leadership has completely vanished, and most of us are just counting the days until we can leave.

Pros

- Really good culture here at Kikoff, coworkers are supportive / collaborative and great to work with - Strong financial performance, with a clear growth trajectory that brings stability and confidence in the business - Kikoff has several strong products in the market, which keeps the work interesting and meaningful - Leadership is transparent and approachable, and there are plenty of opportunities to learn and grow

Cons

- Strategic priorities can shift quickly as the company learns and adapts (typical of a startup) — great if you enjoy a dynamic, fast-moving environment, but could be challenging if you prefer a slower environment

Pros

The mission is interesting on paper, and the team has a couple of genuinely talented people who are passionate about what they do.

Cons

There’s a rumor internally that the CEO isn’t actually interested in doing the work of running a company — she just likes having the title and the clout that comes with it. Honestly I believe it. She doesn't ever solve real problems. She has no vision and no accountability. She doesn't actually lead. That’s a terrible combination when the business is struggling and needs direction. Fintech is an incredibly competitive and fast-moving space, which makes strong leadership essential. For a company trying to compete in a tough market, these leadership gaps are a serious risk. Maybe consider joining an AI startup?
