The staff and families are phenomenal.

The lack of time away from the classroom during the day, a short break from the children really helps and the inability to plan for classes

Pros

Family atmosphere. Love going to work each day to spend time working with children, families and coworkers. Coworkers are very close - like family. They have your back and are very caring.

Cons

Take it personal when a family leaves because you miss them and their children. Won't ever make more than $15 hour being a teacher

With an advanced college degree and 15 years experience, my hourly rate was less than what I made 20 years ago with no college education and no experience.
