Pros

Good benefits if you make it past the 2 year contracts. Extremely competent and caring mid-level management. They do not focus on blame when issues arise

Cons

Kinectrics expands its beaurocracy in the name of diligence without adjusting timelines, cost or employees. A focus on accountability removes managers ability to raise valid concerns about expanding responsibilities, cost and time. Consequently, 1 in 5 have been on some type of stress leave in the last 5 years (likely more). When hired on, expect to be put on some long term contract (18 months to 2 years). During this time, you pay union dues without any benefits. Once the contract will be close to done, you won't hear anything about next steps. Then they will just keep adding short terms contracts as long as they can. If something happens during this time, the union will not support you.
