Pros

Very collegial, lots of socialization possibility, very involved in serving the community. Some of the attorney are real good people who care about those who work at K&S.

Cons

If someone in management does not like you, you may have a hard time getting ahead.

Pros

King & Spalding is a very large SE law firm. One has an opportunity to work with and be mentored by some of the best/finest litigators in the nation. My personal experience was one of mutual respect and passion for the law. They were all great to work with. I learned so much and grew so much professionally, that I have limitless opportunities in my field.

Cons

Any firm that has 800 attorneys and the staff to support those attorneys is going to be very political. One does need to know how to play the game.
