Cons

Terrible leadership Write up/termination’s do not align with job duties and communications witg leadership. Misleading/inaccurate job descriptions, mainly in the area of experienced needed for the role. IT leadership picks and chooses who has to follow company policies. Such as dress code, breaks, punch times etc.

Pros

Interesting projects and genuinely great colleagues are the only things that make this place bearable, and they’re the reason many people stay longer than they should

Cons

What can be said? Reading the previous reviews already gives you a good idea of what this workplace is like—a toxic, bullying environment dominated by a cowboy culture, with no real opportunities for progression or salary increases. As if that weren’t bad enough, major changes in Ireland over the past years have only accelerated the decline, and it hasn’t slowed down since. Employees have been made redundant—some only weeks after transferring from other teams. Those who ask for a salary increase are not only denied but are questioned about their value to the company. It’s not enough to say “no”; management seems determined to silence people and make them feel grateful for the peanuts they receive. There’s a specific term for this behaviour, and it isn’t a flattering one. When people leave, they are not replaced, yet the remaining staff are expected to absorb full-time workloads on top of their own. Bonuses and Christmas vouchers are becoming a thing of the past. All of these so-called “cost-effective” measures have been introduced by new leadership, but they appear to me to benefit mainly one individual—someone keen to demonstrate their competence to the CEO. It seems to me that this person might enjoy the bonus, status, and power, while hundreds of employees and their families carry the cost.

Pros

Kingspan comes with the luxury of benefits, flexibility, above average compensation, and availability to move up/positions.

Cons

Unfortunately, Kingspan does not retain good employees across departments and allows the wrong people in management to make company decisions.
