Safety didn't seem like their first priority. They weren't willing to pay their employees to keep the experienced ones there.

Nice Analytical lab, poor supervision

High quality lab and instruments Very nice staff outside of the lab

Cons

- Mediocre salary - Disengaged supervisor who disliked their job and had a poor outlook regarding the lab and the company - No teamwork, lab is dominated by pettiness and passive-aggressive attitudes. Most of the young and newly hired staff were very unprofessional and disrespectful to the other more experienced chemists - Absolutely zero opportunities for professional development - Very limited reimbursement for external education...not worthwhile pursuing - No upward mobility whatsoever (unless you plan to replace the lab supervisor or lab manager)
