It was a great place to work. There is a clear difference in student population within district. There is a variety of opportunities to work with diverse learners

Cons

The student population at the school where I taught was very low income. The kids were sweet but there was little parent support.

Pros

I enjoyed working with these people. It is one of the better places I have ever worked. There was a nice integration of backgrounds and cultures.

Cons

The kids expect a lot from their teachers and will keep you on your toes. It's good that they value their education. I don't really consider that a con, though.

leadership will try to hold you back from moving up, especially if you are good
