Pros
I truly appreciate and enjoy working at Knetik. The atmosphere is convivial, my coworkers are awesome, management is open, available and easy to get along with. They are flexible with employees, snacks and drinks are provided, free lunch on Fridays. Good equipment and a pleasant work-space(open office, lounge area with games)
The boss is a super cool person whose main philosophy is: hire good people, set high expectations, and give devs whatever they need.
It is a hard driving place, but deadlines are actually generally reasonable. No 80 hour weeks here and crunch time is rare.
Pay is very competitive and the benefit package is solid.
This is a place where growth and education are valued. If you are self motivated and open to learning you will pick up new skills on a regular basis.
Projects are varied - clients span many industries and there is a steady pipeline of new work.
Cons
I don't really have anything negative to say. If issues arise, they are discussed openly and remedied. This year a new regime of senior devs has been brought in and practices are being standardized and improved rapidly.
