We know that burnout is a constant threat to any employee in any organization, which is why we provide our Knowsters with so many tools to keep them happy and engaged. For those who are looking for more of a challenge in a job that is “super easy once you get the hang of it,” we have tools specifically to help Knowsters grow, upskill, cross-train, and get promotions. Taking advantage of tuition reimbursement and certification reimbursement/bonuses while also utilizing our in-house performance and career development coaches is a great way for employees to outline goals, get motivated, and achieve success in their careers. For those looking for fun in their day-to-day work life, we are constantly holding fun games, competitions, employee mingles, social events, and team-building outings to make sure everyone is following rule #3 of KnowBe4 - “have fun while you do it.” Knowsters who just need time to get away and recharge can also take advantage of our open PTO policy to take off as much time as they need (with manager approval). As if that wasn’t enough, Knowsters can also always reach out to our Employee Relations team or our Department of Fun & Shenanigans to discuss more options for how to best combat burnout and keep work fun and engaging. Hello and thank you for bringing this to our attention. KnowBe4 does have an open PTO policy, as there is no set limit to the amount of PTO that can be taken. However, as you mentioned, our sales representatives are subject to certain black-out dates on PTO, particularly at the end of the month and quarter. This is because our sales teams put up big numbers during these times. Our recruitment team makes this explicitly clear to all sales candidates who are considering employment with KnowBe4. Apparently, something was missed during your hiring process, as you were not made aware of this policy.
