Hired during Covid-19 stay at home epidemic

Pros

I was worried they were going to push my start date because of the Covid-19 stay at home order but they didn't. My first 3 weeks of training were done in a virtual classroom which felt just as personal as I am sure the in-office class would have been. Plus everyone I've talked to has been more than happy to take extra time out of their busy day to help teach and explain things to me. I also love that Stu (CEO) holds morning meetings each day - a true leader of a company to me is one that is involved and shows their involvement. I am looking forward to really thriving at KnowBe4.

Pros

- the onboarding resources are very welcoming and the entire onboarding process has been streamlined, even though everyone is newly working from home - open PTO, free healthcare option for the employee, 3.5% 401K match + other good benefits/perks - still in hyper-growth and hiring during COVID-19 where other organizations are having to lay people off/cut benefits - complete transparency across the entire organization

Cons

- starting salary is average but may be a step back if you've received a few raises at your last company

I have been with the company for close to 4 years and I have to say the way we have been taking care to make sure our team is still up and running is AMAZING! I'm so lucky to be part of this team and I feel like I'm really cared for and that I'm important to the team. The company even worked out to give us extra money in our paychecks to cover the coffee and snacks and extra food we are now buying for ourselves. They have thought of everything! The have made working from home as comfortable as it can be in these rough times.

Cons

Honestly, none that I can think of.
