Pros

Sector heads are reliable. Co-workers in all departments are amazing. Opportunities are given where deserved. Good work is appreciated by the right people.

Cons

Since the Vista acquisition KnowBe4 has seemingly started to stretch the truth, which is unheard of. Healthcare was framed as better for families. Not highlighting that they dropped the no-cost option to a high deductible health plan citing it’s cheaper for families. Yes, this is true to HAVE the insurance but not to actually use it. Benefits are not something we can look forward to as a load off our shoulders anymore. They also said we don’t have to worry about layoffs but they dissolved an entire sector and now we are seeing social media posts of friends and former coworkers telling us the sad news. Just disappointed in what we have become. Disappointed that the company culture we were told would be maintained is seemingly slipping away.

Stu here! I know there have been a lot of changes happening lately, so let me simply reiterate what has been going on and why. KnowBe4 is always optimizing our operations and optimizing for the effects of the economic cycle. The current downturn has impacted our business strategy and workforce much less than many of the major tech companies. The few changes that did impact employment were isolated events, and the executive leaders of those teams have been directly communicating to the members of the affected teams. As always, my first priority has been to care for the people affected by the changes. We looked at reallocating team members to other areas, and for the few who could not or did not want to change roles, we provided an ample severance package. Above all, I wanted to ensure these team members were cared for as they transitioned away from KnowBe4 to find other opportunities. Regarding your concerns with health insurance, the monthly cost of our family Insurance was reduced by 30% for families with no change in plan structure. An additional high-deductible plan is also offered, which allows families to save up to 49% a month when compared to the prior year. I assure you that I am determined to keep KnowBe4 a highly efficient, sane, fast, and fun workplace - with the positive and supportive culture that our Knowsters love.

Stay Away- They Are Firing Everyone

Unlimited PTO. Job for Life if you are part of the cult

Cons

They are firing everyone, without notice. They waited until they sold and went private so they didn't have to report the more than 30 plus people fired, and they have plans to fire at least 20 more. The scumbag owner went to the superbowl while he fires over 10% of his team. It's a cult for the church in downtown Clearwater. If you wear a bracelet or necklace, you are set. If you are related to anyone at the company, you will have a job. Even if you are married and report to the same supervisor- they don't care.

Hi, Stu here. I want to simply reiterate what has been happening around KnowBe4 and why. KnowBe4 is optimizing for the current effects of the economic cycle, and as part of that, we are no longer offering the KnowBe4 Compliance Manager product. In our 12 years as a company we have seen massive headcount growth, but eventually every organization that lasts long enough is bound to have some restructuring. Our restructure has impacted less than 3% of employees, and there have not been company-wide layoffs. My first priority has been to care for the people affected by these changes. We frst reallocated team members to other positions within KnowBe4. For the few who could not or did not want to change roles, we provided an ample severance package. Above all, I wanted to ensure these team members were cared for as they transitioned away from KnowBe4 to find other opportunities. I am determined to keep KnowBe4 a highly efficient, fast, sane, and fun workplace with the positive and supportive culture that our Knowsters love.
