Pros

Good sense of teamwork and camaraderie. Excellent advancement opportunities for those who meet the culture fit and personality requirements. Free coffee, cocoa and tea in the break room. The company is cost-conscious but will make sure the necessary materials are available to complete a task. Terrific cross-company cooperation. Strong sense of working a philosophy as well as a company.

Cons

High tension and stress. Not parent-friendly. Advancement opportunities to those who are able to work excessive overtime and make the job their life. Overwhelming odds against advancement for those who cannot find the extra 10-20 hours a week to consider and implement innovative solutions to create a more effective, efficient position.

Pros

Koch is an overall great place to work. The company cares about its people and understands that motivating individuals by giving them fulfilling and meaningful work is important to the company's success. The compensation philosophy allows you to have more ownership of what you make based on how you contribute. We also have a lot of room to run laterally in our roles - we are not confined by a job description or set list of responsibilities - we have the ability to jump into projects and take on work that solves problems for the organization and that we are passionate about.

Cons

You are restricted for growth within Koch if you do not live in Wichita. Atlanta and Chicago have a lot of opportunities within GP and Molex, but if you are not in one of those major hubs it can be a challenge to grow beyond the role today.
