Pros

Benefits are awesome. Cafe has good food. Very flexible with schedule and taking time to go to appointments. Good pay.

Cons

Office politics. MBM is a buzz word and not something KBX follows. GP Employees follow MBM more than KBX. Like everyone else states, raises are hard to come by and it can take years. Woman are treated different and get less pay than male coworkers. Boys club is real and you can only get promoted if you are in it. They do not promote based on skills but rather who you are friends with. HR is a nightmare and they don't care about anyone unless you are BFF with them. Only certain people can be BFF with HR and VP

Pros

Flexible Work Schedules - WFH days

Cons

No formal compensation policy, you have to work hard for a raise and to get recognized for salary increases and it's subjective -totally based on who you report to. GP I think has better comp policies than Koch, each business unit does their own thing in terms of how they look at comp and the frequency of it.

We strive to provide competitive compensation for all our roles, and reward team members based on the additional value they create – instead of limiting incentives with formal standards. This encourages everyone to contribute their best effort and reap the benefits of hard work. Team members who feel like they are not being compensated accordingly should discuss their concerns with a supervisor or HR.

Pros

Decent wage, great coworkers, job independence

Cons

This company does not care about their employees well being or work life balance. Mostly members of what we referred to as “the boys club” get promoted, even if they aren’t qualified. You can go 5+years with no raise, even if you work your butt off. I was fortunate to get a raise every year but most are not. I had members of management call me obscenities with no consequences. That is completely inappropriate. Managers would leave at 4pm to go golf while their employees stayed until 7pm working their tail off. Those were male managers, of course. I did not feel that women were treated equally at this company.
