Pros

Most of care staff and nurses genuinely cared about the residents. Seniors are a delight to work with.

Cons

There is no leadership or accountability in any of the departments. Safety issues that are reported get dismissed and blame shifting happens. The facility is grossly under staffed and the turnover rate is high. Work culture is toxic. Open door policy is absolutely not honored in any way. Employees are used up and exploited until the morale is completely gone and any value or benefits of working for the company becomes feelings of resentment and lacking in feeling appreciated.

my immediate boss and coworkers in the kitchen were great to work with and the kitchen staff was very close and friendly - everyone else was always in a bad mood and made the work environment difficult to be in.

Cons

Every upper management person was rude, overly analytical of every little thing, and seemed to make an effort to exploit every second of the employees' time.
