      Management Is Rough

      Pros

      Salary was competitive and good for the industry. The insurance package, especially medical was strong and comprehensive. Vacation time up front versus accrued was a plus.

      Cons

      Work schedule was brutal, even for retail hours. Many nights, weekends and holidays. Variable work schedule with little stability for life balance. Often opening or closing and even overnights. Little opportunity for advancement.

      Pros

      Competitive pay, work-life balance, volunteer opportunities within your community. Kohls is also a very structured company; the training material is fantastic!

      Cons

      Payroll; their stores are large and though it's doable, they run on a tight payroll so you must work fast! Early mornings for freight are 5am.
