Work from home on Friday's.

Cons

Pay reflects the work being done, not the skills/experience of the worker. Fear growth would require me to change departments/roles instead of being evaluated on my actual performance.

Pros

It's a very comfortable place to work, with decent benefits and overall a pretty good company culture. It's the first job I've had that actually encourages me to use my PTO.

Cons

Lack of growth opportunities, even though you are expected to always be working on personal development. Location. If this were a NY based company you could just job hop for a raise, but the market is tight here and corporate knows it.

Pros

Teams and management are incredibly supportive, and encourage growth and personal learning even if it doesn't immediately relate to your job. Though we do have required in-office days now, there is still a lot of scheduling flexibility for hybrid roles.

Cons

The corporate lingo and culture can be a bit frustrating and hard to break into at times. Why do we need so many acronyms? Being such a large company, change can sometimes be slow. You don't often see the immediate fruits of your labor, as you might in a smaller company or other field.
