It's an easy job with low expectations. I have a back-room job, so I mostly dodge dealing with customers.

Cons

The stresses of front-line retail and customer service go without saying. Otherwise, it's an easy job with low expectations. The pay isn't great, even compared to similar jobs. There are few opportunities for personal development, much less real advancement. It's all right as a seasonal thing, or just a part-time job for extra cash, but not a good career opportunity.
