Pay for amount of work needs to be better, freestanding sephoras receive higher pay but do less work. Employees at Kohls do multiple roles for sephora but get paid approximately $10 less than main stores. Hours not distributed properly amongst team (mainly beauty insiders but also within kohls even though it's separate) Kohls management or employees sometimes interfere where they have no knowledge or base to do so within sephora department Training is rushed or interrupted, dedicated time ends up being forced during floor time Hiring too many people and not giving the part timers enough hours, such as one day a week for less than 6 hrs Having us do complete floor changes and truck during store open and having to constantly stop for client assistance. Sometimes only one person on the floor Cleaning up after customers, the mannerisms of a lot of people are completely inappropriate and disgusting
