      Great Company But Needs A Lot Of Work And A New Direction

      - 15% Associate Discount + ability to stack Yes2You rewards, kohl's cash and other coupons - Associate Shopping Days, Associate Appreciation Days and Friends & Family discounts (35%-45% off) - Offers 401k, pet insurance, medical, vision and dental insurance, health savings account, commuter discounts, gym membership discounts, etc. - Tuition reimbursement, tuition discounts and scholarships for part time Associates - Holiday and training pay - Scheduling flexibility and work/life balance - Travel, entertainment and movie discounts - Free meals during Black Friday and holidays - Birthday card, cake and candy for Associates on their birthdays

      - Management - Hours - Pay - High turnover - Lack of opportunities for growth, development/advancement - Lack of appreciation and recognition for employees from management - Company does not take the complaints of employee's seriously and management get away with a lot of bad things

      Pros

      Good benefits, good associates, decent discounts, training of sorts, communication manuals with color pictures. That about sums it up for me to use 20 words.

      Cons

      The company has begun what other companies have done near the end. Reduce payroll, FT positions to not give benefits. Same amount of tasks but with less support and shorter time period. Quality of life is not possible. The great new 3 year agenda to make Kohls the most engaging retailer has not raised it to that pinnacle.
