      Great management team in my store, some minor communication issues.

      Pros

      The people are friendly, the management takes the time to know employee's and schedule around home life.

      Cons

      Some portion of pay increase is based on the stores overall performance, therefore in my store nobody gets a full raise. Parts of the raise are based on credit solicitation, even when one hardly has time to solicit.

      Perfect place to be if you don't have a college degree

      Pros

      I worked at kohls for about 6 years. The good thing is that if you work hard they will promote you and you have a good chance of becoming part of senior management. Your work at kohls is not micromanaged, so most of the time you are on your own.

      Cons

      The pay is not very good and the work amount is insane. You always have so much work to do, that you never get anything done 100 percent. I was stressed the entire time

      Pros

      They're flexible with your hours, lots of co-workers have other jobs or school. They hire pretty good people, not anyone to bad. Managment is usually pretty fair.

      Cons

      Don't expect 40 hours a week. If you call out, they sometimes will take your hours way down the following week. Pay isn't great, but it's retail.
