      Good Starter Job

      Pros

      The store I work at is very friendly and the management is awesome. I can always find somebody to take any shifts I do not want and can almost always pick up more shifts from others. Its a great job for a person new to the workforce to establish experience.

      Cons

      However, even with a new, more organized manager, the store is still very disorganized and communication between management and associates can use some work.I find the work to be very stressful on my body, so you have to be strong and easily entertained to work there. The pay is horrible. Making only 8.25/hr for the amount of work we do, and only about 20 hours a week, just is not enough to make a living.They push credit like crazy, and you will be scolded if you do not get credit.

      Pros

      I really enjoy the benefits from Kohl's. They are always trying to think of bigger and better things. Also, they have a very easy return policy.

      Cons

      With my experience I find that training is definitely an opportunity the company needs to work on as a whole. From a entry level position to higher up in management, the need for proper training is desperate. Also, expectations are extraordinary based on the amount of people that work the floor and the amount of work that needs to be done. Lastly, if you are not constantly asking customers to open a credit card you are looked down upon, it's all about credit and little else is awarded and noticed.

      Pros

      Good part time job for stay home moms, close to home, flexible schedule, family like atmosphere, approachable management, all in all, a great place to work!!! only downside, poor hourly wage, minimum =(

      Cons

      the hourly wage and having to work long hours during the christmas season... location is opened very late nights, open to 11 on many weekend nights and sometimes during the week, so after cleaning the entire store you are looking at midnight sometimes before you can go home
