      Pros

      You get to meet all kinds of people, some of the best, nicest interesting people to work with. You can work and still have fun. I tend to think it takes the stress off just saying "it's just a job."

      Cons

      Management usually doesn't communicate with each other. Tasks don't get done in time due to one manager negating another. a lot of big egos in this company. Also Hours get cut drastically (unless you're really needed, ex.:black friday, Holidays, markdowns, remodel, recovery, inventory). from 5 days to 3 days to the even minimum - 4hour work week!!! No help were needed. lots of workers overnight, hardly any for opening. Raises are not noticeable. but mainly hours get cut.

      Pros

      The co-workers are hard working people .There are some dedcated people that work at the store level and really care care about the store.

      Cons

      Store Management is more concerned with them self then the team.They don't help much with development of staff or work.workload is done buy few.The top two in the management team never come out of office. Floor mangers( Hardlines Softlines mangers and Area Sups and Dapartment supervisorss) do 90% 0f the work...

      Pros

      It's a job. It's a pay check. Love my co workers. Love my customers.

      Cons

      The management team is to foucused on the ends and not the means. Credit expections are too high for location. Some methods of asking the custormers if they want to open credit that management has oked seems to much like bate and switch. Hours are cut to the point that there is no one to help the customers or keep the floor clean. What hours that are given are only given to those who perform well in credit. It seems management is almost setting up empolyee to fail with giveing more work than one can do in one shift.
