Pros

Had a great team to work with, employee discount benefits are pretty nice, training and expectations are pretty clear. The newer or updated stores provide a pretty pleasant and efficient working environment. I appreciate the company's push toward green habits and design, reflected in the energy efficiency of the stores, recycling, etc.

Cons

Was not a fan of the incentive based credit card pushing and daily credit and email goals. As a shopper I get rather annoyed by it, personally, and I didn't enjoy feeling pressured to push it on others. The pay was just slightly above minimum wage. I was incredibly disappointed when they started opening early for Black Friday. As a company that proposes to uphold family values, I think it is an incredibly counter-intuitive strategy.

Pros

No uniform, good amount of autonomy, I liked my co-workers for the most part, and a decent retail job. If you just want that then this a as good as anywhere else.

Cons

Only got our schedule for one week in advance with only 3 day's notice, the strong push to sell credit, lots of self training, and little opportunity for advancement or raise.
